New rumors have emerged from the zombie-themed action adventure game Dead Island 2. First announced in 2013 and scheduled to be released at the end of 2014, Dead Island 2 has been silent for many years. Now, there have been a few new reports from the game.
The gameplay video of Dead Island 2, which has not been heard from for a long time, was leaked a year ago. Now, Tom Henderson, known for leak news, has made new claims about the game. “Although the exact release date is not yet clear, the game’s release will be at The Game Awards event in early December,” Henderson said of the game.
Deep Silver’s parent company, Embracer Group, mentioned in its latest financial report that Dead Island 2 will come out before the end of next fiscal year. This means that the game will most likely be released before March 31, 2023.
With the gameplay structure that shifts to the RPG style, the Dead Island series is carried to the next generation. In Dead Island 2, co-op support for up to eight people is one of the most noticeable. Dead Island 2, which will come with classes with completely different features and deeper craft mechanics, takes players to California.
The game is currently in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
