Electronic Arts’ Dead Space Remake release date became clear when the game’s developers announced during a live broadcast Friday that “it is expected to arrive in early 2023.”

While the live stream mainly focused on how the reconstruction was improved on the sound of the original Dead Space, game developers in EA’s Motive studio posed a question about the release date of the restructuring.
Philippe Ducharme, senior producer of the Dead Space remake, said, “We want to make sure that we’re in a place where our game meets the expectations of fans. That’s the most important thing. Early next year. We have history in mind. We want to make sure that everything is united for this,” he said.
Friday’s live broadcast, which also featured creative director Campos-Oriola and sound director Olivier Asselin, detailed key updates to Dead Space’s memorable sound. The developers highlighted how weapons such as its protagonist Isaac Clarke’s Plasma Cutter will sound and how breathing, heart rate and dialogue will contribute to the auditory atmosphere of the game.
EA and Motive announced the production of Dead Space Remake last July. They promised that the remake of the 2008 sci-fi survival horror game would “deliver an advanced story, characters, gameplay mechanics and more” as they battle to survive a nightmare living on the desolate mining starship USG Ishimura.
Dead Space Remake is coming to PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X.
