THQ Nordic has announced the launch of a playable demo for the turn-based RPG game Expeditions: Rome. This demo is based on the Expedition to Greece and offers about 4 hours of game time.

Start your story as Legatus, the young legatus whose father was recently murdered by an unknown political opponent and who fled Rome and was forced to seek refuge in a military camp under Greek rebel control! As time goes on, prove your military prowess to everyone, and return to Legatus, where you fight on the battlefield and get stronger and more respected and afraid.
Expeditions: Feel rome’s will everywhere from the blue bays of Greece to the unbroken forests of Gaul with every action you take in the World of Rome. You decide how people see you and Rome. You’re going to fall on your enemies with an iron fist? Or are you going to resort to political cunning? You’re going to move on with the political legacy left by the Republic?
