Developer Quantic Dream announced that detroit: Become Human sales exceeded 6.5 million. The game had sales of five million in August 2020 and six million in July 2021.
Guillaume de Fondaumière, Managing Director of Quantic Dream, said of the sales figures: “Our financial situation is in very good shape. We can understand this especially from Detroit: Become Human, which debuted on Steam in 2021. We are grateful to our followers for enabling us to achieve strong sales figures.
Detroit: Become Human is the biggest commercial success of the Quantic Dream team, which debuts on PC and PS4 worldwide and has sold more than 6.5 million copies.”
Detroit: Become Human was released in May 2018 for PlayStation 4, December 2019 through the Epic Games Store for PC, and June 2020 on Steam.
