Mary DeMarle, author of Deus Ex and Guardians of the Galaxy, has joined BioWare. As noticed by Video Games Chronicle, DeMarle announced this news on his LinkedIn account.
DeMarle was responsible for the story and narrative of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and the mobile games Deus Ex: Go and Deus Ex: The Fall in general.
Commenting on joining the BioWare team, DeMarle said, “I’m delighted to share with you that I’m transitioning to a new position as Senior Director of Storytelling on the EA/BioWare team!”
DeMarle spent nearly 15 years at Eidos before moving to BioWare, and before that he worked at Ubisoft. There’s no word yet on what DeMarle’s first BioWare project will be.
