The other day, it was announced that Mary DeMarle, the author of modern Deus Ex games and winner of the Best Storytelling award for Guardians of the Galaxy last year, has joined BioWare.
Michael Gamble, director of the new Mass Effect (let’s call himself Mass Effect 4 for now), has confirmed that award-winning author EA will serve in this legendary sci-fi series.
“I’m thrilled to announce that Mary DeMarle has joined the Mass Effect team as a Senior Storytelling Director. You’ve seen his work in Guardians of the Galaxy and Deus Ex. He’s a great guy,” Gamble said, announcing that the cast of Mass Effect is getting stronger.
DeMarle left Eidos shortly after Embracer acquired Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.
