Recently, Mary DeMarle, author of Deus Ex and Guardians of the Galaxy, announced that she has joined the BioWare team. After this statement he shared on his LinkedIn account, it was a matter of curiosity which project he would work on. Now it’s clear which game he’s working on.
DeMarle is responsible for the story and narration of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and the mobile games Deus Ex: Go and Deus Ex: The Fall in general, and will work as a Senior Story Director on the new Mass Effect going forward.
Mass Effect director Michael Gamble made several statements about DeMarle. He said: “I’m really excited to let you know that Mary DeMarle will be joining the Mass Effect team as a Senior Story Director.”
The BioWare team announced the next game in the popular Mass Effect series at The Game Awards event in 2020. However, the studio is currently focused on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. So it may take us a while to see the new Mass Effect game.
