The technical alpha phase of
Diablo 2 Resurrected; is over for now, but the pirates have released a patch of offline play, finding a way to continue running the game.
Although
Diablo 2; features are available online, ultimately you can play the game offline on your own, one of the features of Diablo 2 Resurrected; will be being able to play offline. So it’s only a matter of time before this kind of patch is released.
it’s unclear if
Blizzard will open the Diablo 2 Resurrected demo to everyone, so this patch (or let’s call it offline crack) is the only way to try the game right now. However, there is a reason blizzard limited technical alpha testing, which does not reflect the quality of the final version of the game. But it’s possible to say that even the way it is now is great.
The offline patcher files of the game can be found open source via GitHub in a small search.
