Diablo 4 game director Luis Barriga, chief designer Jesse McCree and World Of Warcraft designer Jonathan LeCraft left Blizzard on Wednesday. Although the breakup was not officially announced at first, it was stated that the three designers were no longer on the Activision Blizzard employee list. Later in the process, a spokeswoman for Activision Blizzard formally announced the separation, saying in an email, “We can confirm that Luis Barriga, Jesse McCree and Jonathan Lecraft are no longer in the company.”

A source who learned of the news said Activision Blizzard did not give a reason for the breakups, but that it was not aware of any reports of a break-up. however, he said the company was handling a California lawsuit alleging widespread sexual harassment and discrimination at the publisher of Overwatch and Call Of Duty.
Luis Barriga has been at Blizzard since 2006 and has been a front-rower since diablo 4first appeared as game director. The game is still in development and there is no official release date yet. After the endless breakups, we’ll all have to wait and see if any changes are made to the game.
