Electronic Arts previously announced Ripple Effect Studios, known as DICE Los Angeles.
The studio, led by Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella and managing director Christian GRass, is currently working on “Battlefield 2042 and an un announced project.
On the new studio: “We are proud of what we do at DICE Los Angeles, and the DICE team will forever be part of our DNA. But in the last eight years, we have developed our own culture and the way we do business. We are excited to look to the future, expand the team and create our own identity.”
Zampella added: “The staff here have a great history of producing high-quality games, and the studio is preparing to make even more incredible games in the future.”
