Netflix’s own Marvel series have moved towards their new home, Disney+, as their contract expires. Of course, it wasn’t clear what place Disney would find for Daredevil and his gang, as it already has a vast Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, according to the latest developments, Daredevil will now continue all the legacy of netflix life within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the Daredevil front page added to Marvel’s official site, it became official that this three-season history was considered a “canon”.
The page, which depicts the past of Daredevil/Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, also used screenshots from the series. Not only Daredevil, but Luke Cage, Danny Rand (Iron Fist) and Jessica Jones are officially involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thus, the Defenders team and their adventures will be included in the MCU past. There is no clear source for another fan favourite, Punisher, but it is very likely that daredevil will now be part of the MCU with its presence in season 2 and its sequel.
It was recently announced that there would be a Daredevil remake of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fortunately, things don’t seem to be going as feared, matt murdock, who will be able to continue his story from where he left off on Netflix. But, of course, there’s also the subject of an infinitely likely variant with the Loki series. Perhaps he’ll suffer from the Defenders team and the Punisher variant to take on the MCU and take on another story. For now, I don’t think Disney+;
