The marvel cinematic universe’s latest and most complex link, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has left its first weekend behind. Predictably, the second Doctor Strange film, which had a hugely successful box office opening, generated nearly $450 million in box office revenue worldwide. Considering the $185 million box office in America, we witnessed another great opening at the MCU.
Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019, still holds the top spot in this area. Multiverse of Madness was the seventh most successful film in the MCU. Dc’s biggest film in recent times, The Batman, opened about 38% better than Disney.
Although doctor strange is mentioned in its name, this multiverse craze, which is in essence a Wanda Maximoff story, will try to surpass a billion dollars until it is released from vision.
