One of the characters with the largest complexity in the DC Universe is undoubtedly Green Lantern. Not only a character, but throughout history we have come across many different Lanterns and we have a huge Lantern archive, especially when it comes to space. Unfortunately, this great universe could not successfully bring it to the screen. The film starring Ryan Reynoldswas probably the biggest disappointment. But times have changed, the Warner Brothers now own HBO Maxand the streaming service wars are calling green lantern.
DC, which is preparing to bring the Lantern complex to the screen as a series this time, has appointed Seth Grahame-Smithas the project’s director. While fans were eagerly awaiting the first details from the show, Smith revealed they were still at the beginning of the road. Smith, who admitted he had little to do with comic books as a child, first met Batman in 1989 and said his life changed and then he admired Green Lantern.
“It’s going to be a little longer until the world see this series,” Smith said. However, I can assure you that the whole team is working a lot of overtime on this.” Said. Green Lantern recently cast Tobias Menzies to play the universe’s iconic villain, Sinestro. Naturally, the series, which still doesn’t have an official release date, hopefully takes the Lantern complex to its rightful place in front of the screen.
