Romero Games, owned by John Romero, has announced that it is working on a new FPS game . John Romero , the 3D designer of the productions that have written his name in gold letters in the game world, announced that they are working on a new FPS shooter game with a major publisher.
Romero Games comes with a new FPS game
The studio began its announcement today, saying, “It’s a new dawn for Romero Games.” John Romero said, “We are working with a major publisher to develop a new shooter FPS game. It will be a brand new FPS game with original and new IP,” he continued. The company added to its statement that the new game it is working on will do with Unreal Engine 5.

The company, which advertised jobs in many positions for the new game, announced the need for personnel by saying, “Our team is expanding and we are looking for talented teammates for almost every position and all experience levels, especially those with Unreal Engine 5 experience.” Although the firm is based in Galway, Ireland, it supports remote or hybrid working models for sought-after new colleagues.

Founded in 2015 by ID Software co-founder Romero and his wife Brenda, the studio has now posted a total of nine new jobs in coding, design and art positions. The company’s last known game was Empire of Sin, released by Paradox Interactive in 2020.
