Dragon Quest Builders was first released on January 28, 2016 in Japan for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita. It then debuted for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on October 11, 2016 in North America and on October 14, 2016 in Europe. It then came to Switch consoles worldwide on February 9, 2018, and in Japan on March 1, 2018.
The land of Alefgard was razed to the ground generations ago by the terrifying and treacherous Dragon Lord, the ruler of all monsters. Humanity’s power to build had been taken away, and humans were forced to wander through the ruins of their former homes, stealing and feeding off garbage in order to survive.
Now the possibility of restoring the power of creation to humanity and rebuilding Alefgard depends on you, the Legendary Builder, chosen by the Goddess himself. The only way humanity can fend the evil Dragon Lord in a pen is to recover the miracle of imagination!
