Dune, which was released at the same time as HBO Max last year but had a pretty good box office success, is preparing for a full-throttle sequel. Dune, who continues to develop his all-star squad with new players, is preparing to offer a feast in visual analysis. Greg Fraser, who previously developed a new technology for The Mandalorian series, will also take over as cinematographer in Dune 2 again.
Fraser stated that they plan to use the technology he developed for the Mandalorian series in the sequel by making it even better;
We have recently seen the Mandalorian technology that Greg Fraser laid the foundations for in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This new technology, which proves its success in desert environments, especially with Tatooine, will probably be very useful for Dune 2 as well. Since Denis Villenueve is sitting in the director’s chair again, expectations are high again in terms of visuality. The sequel to Dune will be released on October 20, 2023 .
