Techland gave the players the good news today with a live broadcast presentation on Twitch. Finally, the long-awaited Dying Light 2 release date has been set, and the developer insists that it plans to release the game in 2021. Walking with the first game of the series and the confidence it had previously gained in zombie games, Techland finally shared long-awaited information for DL2 fans. However, a new video of the game has also been released, shedding light on the process of the production, which has long turned into a snake story.
Dying Light 2 release date set
Techland shared new information about the game in a stream that you can watch by clicking here on Twitch. Dying Light 2 will be released on December 7, 2021, promising players dangerous nights in the open world. Now let’s take a look at the details of the gameplay video that seems controversial.
The new gameplay footage released includes groups we may encounter in the open world of the game, various enemies and the story of our main character Aiden. Frankly, given how much they’ve fallen on him, Aiden must be a well-designed character that the player can integrate into. You know, we mentioned in our previous reports that information about Aiden was also shared.
However, it is also understood from the video that melee mechanics make you feel fuller. Melee mechanics, which look more settled than the first game, also give the player the choice. As you can see in the video, you can use your own weapons to your advantage, kill hidden enemies or use your course skills by resorting to brute force.
At night, as in the first game, we will fight many different types of enemies, and the variety has increased considerably due to what the developers call the “mutation passed in 15 years”. It’s nice and it’s not good to know that on nights when the danger is high, the zombie species we see in the trailer will jump on us. If you spent most of the first game with the sun on you, you’ll know what we’re saying.
And while the word didn’t satisfy the presenters very much, we do have the Dying Light 2 release date and a new gameplay video. We also hope to see more details as the release date approaches. The game is currently available for pre-order on Steam under the name Dying Light 2 Stay Human for $349. You can visit the store page by clicking here.
