Techland Dying Light 2 released sales figures. Released on February 4, 2022, the game sold more than 5 million copies in a month’s time. The company said its first Dying Light game, released in 2016, exceeded 20 million sales. Techland, which shared the statistics in a press release, said Dying Light 2 sales grew month-to-month.

Techland hinted in a press release that they could announce new content and “long-desired innovations” coming to Dying-Light 2 next week. Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka said:
” The success of the Dying Light series is one of the most important examples of the unforgettable experiences we offer our players.”
Techland has already released free DLC and track trials, stating that it plans to keep Dying Light 2 up to date with content for at least five years. According to the company’s roadmap, 2 paid story expansions will come to the game starting in June. Techland is expected to announce the “New Game Plus” mode, which will bring great content to Dying Light 2 at the end of this month.
