Dying Light 2 is out early. Physical copies of the game, which will be released on Friday, February 4, were released early after an error, and some players received physical copies of the game. Techland, who is not afraid to make ambitious statements such as “You will spend 500 hours in Dying Light 2” , certainly does not want the surprise of the game to escape.
Dying Light 2 goes into early distribution, Techland calls on players
Techland called out the players in a statement on its Twitter account:
“Some of our players have a physical copy of Dying Light 2 before the game comes out (it’s coming out this Friday, 3 days to go!) We found out what they got.
We know you can’t wait to explore the world of Dying Light 2 and nothing could make us happier!!”
“We ask you to be patient until February 4th. This way, you’ll be able to experience Dying Light 2 the way it should, thanks to the first day patch , which includes all the fixes and improvements we’ve applied to the game over the last few weeks.”
Following that announcement, some players demanded that Techland release the game right now, without waiting for Friday, while others questioned how healthy the review would be for creators and sites that had early access to the game. The basis of the players who ask this is the emphasis that the game will be “as it should be” with the first day patch to be broadcast on the official release date of the game.
