Techland has announced that it will offer a free PlayStation 5 upgrade for gamers who purchase Dying Light 2 on PlayStation 4; The game is also powered by Smart Delivery, so Xbox One players will be able to upgrade their game to xbox series for free.
But there’s another explanation from the studio about the console versions. Cross-platform and cross-generation co-op features will not be available in Dying Light 2 on the game’s release day. Cross-play will be available between Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game will also come to Switch via the cloud at a later date.
Dying Light 2 is possible to play co-op from start to finish, and all players who participate as guests will be able to keep their winnings and advances. There will be a vote on the key decisions in the game, but the final decision will be made by the player who is the host of the session.
Dying Light 2 is released on February 4.
