In an email to its users, EA announced that the BioWare Points system will be discontinued as of October 11, 2022, while other BioWare products such as Crystals and Platinum will not be affected.
BioWare Points were used for purchases on Origin, some additional content that could only be purchased in in-store currency. This content included some additional packs for Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, and Mass Effect 3. You can now get these packages for free. To do this, you need to enter the Origin application, open the page of these games, add the relevant packages to your library from the Extra Content section. There are quite a few packages in this group, I would say take a look.
EA has also noted in the email that there will be no problem accessing content previously purchased using BioWare Points. If anyone has BioWare Points in their hands, they should not forget to spend them before October 11.
