In the company’s latest earnings call, EA Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen said he is very hopeful of battlefield 2042, the upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter.
Jorgensen said: “We feel very positive about it. If we didn’t feel there was potential for us, we wouldn’t be so focused. I think this game will be a big advantage for the company in the longer term. In the next few months, we’ll be bringing you more details about Battlefield 2042.”
He added: “We want to build a long-term relationship with Battlefield players. Portal mode is the most concrete example of this and we will be bringing more content into the game in the next few years.”
Battlefield 2042 will be released for PC on October 22 through Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin.
