Konami announced that the V1.0.0 update, which heralds the release of eFootball 2022; some kind of early access, is available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One.

This update is to give players a beautiful football simulation experience; new game modes, licenses and control settings. Konami’s statement reads:

Free to play eFootball 2022 is designed to realistically reflect the struggle for ball dominance among players and the unique team tactics often seen in the football world. The game has been added with brand new controls that give players in different positions on the field more options and the opportunity to experience tactical challenges based on real-world football logic.

Also a new item: Season has also taken its place in the game. Each Season will reflect the current issues already taking place in the world of football and will be the scene of various events in this context. The theme of Season 1 is “New Gameplay Approach, Team Building and Licenses”. Players will experience the offensive and defensive mechanisms that are often seen in world football and perfectly reflected in eFootball 2022.

In addition, the game mode, previously introduced as “Creative Team”, was renamed “Dream Team” and added to the game with this release. This mode gives players the opportunity to build their own teams and play against “Dream Teams” of other players around the world.

After the first week of “Start Period”, from April 21st, 1. Various in-game events will be held in accordance with the season theme.
