Elden Ring;’s release date is still January 21, 2022, there is not the slightest deviation from the plans, and news from FromSoftware indicates that the game’s development is progressing. The game’s producer, Yasuhiro Kitao, said in an interview with Famitsu during the Tokyo Game Show that Elden Ring’s development process is now in its final stages.
Kitao also gave a few new information about the game’s open world and mission system.
We already knew elden Ring would be in the open world this time, so we’ll be seriously free to go where and when. But that doesn’t mean we’re going to get lost on the map. He added that Kitao Elden Ring will have a “rather unusual map structure” and that players can expect to see things they’ve never seen before in a FromSoftware game.
You know, some open-world games have something tiresome about the player: hundreds of “empty jobs; Task. In fact, games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey received serious criticism. In Elden Ring, there will be no such missions, and we won’t have to finish them just for the sake of it.
Elden Ring map will have “a system that allows you to go wherever you want but also tells you when you’re in trouble.” And the physical map fragments we’re going to find in the game will point to where we need to go and create beams of light that will guide us.
We continue to look forward to Elden Ring. I hope we can play Best Game of 2022 from the first month of the year:)
