Electronic Arts has confirmed that it will not host the annual EA Play Live event in 2022.
An Electronic Arts representative told IGN: “We love EA Play Live, the best way to connect with our players and share innovations. However, this year’s jobs don’t line up to show you everything on a single date and broadcast. Exciting things are happening in our world-class studios. When the time comes, we will present much more about these projects to you. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year.”
EA Play Live 2021 was held on July 22, 2021. This event included grid legends and dead space remake announcements. EA Play 2020, held on June 11, 2020, included announcements of a new Skate game, It Take Two, and more.
