Elazig Municipality, which continues to support youth, sports and athletes, has launched another project in order to bring the sport to a wider audience. Esports team was established within Elazig Belediyespor Club, which is active in many sports. With the Esports team established under the leadership of elazig Municipality Youth Council, young people from Elazig who are interested in technology and sports will come together to play sports and have fun.
There will be player selections for the Elazig Belediyespor Esports team, which will compete in many games. Then there will be athlete licensing procedures. The Elazig Belediyespor Esports team will appear in leagues and tournaments established by the Turkish Esports Federation.
Stating that they have put many projects aimed at young people into service with the understanding of social municipality, President Şahin Sharif said, “As Elazig Municipality, we have always supported our young people by standing by sports and athletes. In line with our efforts to increase sports activities in our city, we have established our Esports team within our Elazig Belediyespor Club.”
