Developer Frontier Developments announced that Elite Dangerous’s new expansion, the Odyssey, will debut for PC on May 19.
Console versions are scheduled for release this fall.
The final alpha test on the PC will begin on April 28. Users who pre-order the Deluxe Alpha Expansion version of the expansion will be able to participate.
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is $61.00 on Steamand Deluxe Alpha Expansion is $82.00.
“During the alpha period, your feedback was invaluable, and your feedback made that release date possible. We will continue to collect your feedback during the fourth alpha phase and after release as we work on further improvements and content updates.”
With Elite Dangerous: Odyssey, players will exit the spaceship for the first time, explore planets on foot in the first person and take action as FPS.
