New information continues to emerge from leaked documents in the case between Epic Games and Apple.
Epic Games has offered Sony Interactive Entertainment $200 million to bring 4-6 first-party PlayStation exclusive games exclusively to the Epic Games Store on PC, according to the documents.
There’s no deal yet. Epic Games is awaiting a response from Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The HORIZON Zero Dawn PC version is available simultaneously on the Epic Games Store and Steam. The DAYS Gone PC version will also be released at the same time. PlayStation boss Jim Ryan says we’ll see more first-party PlayStation exclusives on PC after Days Gone.
The documents also show that Epic Games is interested in Microsoft and Nintendo games.
The Xbox Game Pass PC manager has stated that the epic games store does not approve of the strategies it follows, and it seems unlikely that they will cooperate with the Microsoft Store as they are direct competitors. It was noted that it was a very difficult task for Nintendo and a desperate attempt to finish before it started.
