Epic Games Storespends this week with Rebel Galaxy in its free games series, while next week’s games are Void Bastards and Yooka-Laylee.
Void Bastardsis inspired by games such as Bioshock and System Shock 2; Which is natural, because we’re talking about a game developed by Blue Manchu, founded by Jonathan Chey, a name that’s been involved in these games. The graphic style is also inspired by the once-acclaimed game XIII (let’s not get into the remake now:)), one of those games that feels like you’re moving forward in a comic book. It managed to be a generally acclaimed game, so you might want to give it a chance:
Yooka-Layleeis a fun open world platformer. We embark on an adventure with our lovely duo Yooka and Laylee, trying to thwart Capital B’s treacherous plans. Previously, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair were also given away for free by Epic Games, thus making Yooka-Laylee games two:
