In the Counter Strike: Global Offensive league ESL Pro League Season 16 in Malta, the quarter-finals of the 1st day matches were completed.
As a result of the matches, Cloud9 defeated FaZe 2-1 and Liquid defeated MOUZ 2-0 to reach the quarterfinals. The 3rd match of the quarterfinals was between Vitality and Outsiders. As a result of the match, Vitality made it to the semi-finals with a 2–0 victory over the Outsiders. Vitality’s semi-final opponent will be determined after today’s G2 Esports vs. Natus Vincere match.
The grand final will take place on Sunday, October 2, in a 5-game series format, and the champion team will take home $175,000.
