The story of superhero teams coming together is usually quite a cliché. What we know so far about Eternals suggests that these stereotypes are in place. A supervillain is approaching and the ancient Eternals team is preparing to reunite. Although the Eternals were quite old in the original, after the Thanos snap, they’ll be in big business again. The last photo from the film shows a group of Eternals coming together.
In the image shared exclusively for Empire, we see the characters Sprite (Lia McHugh), Druig (Barry Keoghan), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), Gilgamesh (Don Lee), Sersi (Gemma Chan) and Ikaris (Richard Madden) dressed as modern-day people. Phastos seems to be using his technological powers to guide the team. They will include Thena, played by Angelina Jolie; and Ajax, played by Salma Hayek.
A bizarre claim about Eternals, which we’ve been eagerly awaiting to see its struggle with the Deviants, is also circulating in the Disney lobby. Under normal circumstances, Eternals, which we will watch on November 5th, will be released before shang-chi; it could be postponed in a possible failure at the box office. Post-pandemic Disney doesn’t want to take any risks, especially in terms of box office.
