Perhaps one of the games that changed the course of the game world is Stardew Valley. Developed by just one person, this amazing game recently turned six. But despite being on the market for a long time, Stardew Valley’s sales continue to grow.
Producer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone announced on his official Twitter account that Stardew Valley has sold 20 million copies. Speaking to the PCGamer team, Barone expressed his surprise at the success of the game, adding that he “could not believe” in the sale of 20 million units.
The much more interesting thing is that sales continue to increase day by day. According to Barone, Stardew Valley is currently selling far more than it did when it debuted.
Eric Barone doesn’t deny that he’s surprised. “It’s really incredible to have reached 20 million points. I still can’t believe the game has reached this level.”
In an email to PCGamer, Barone said, “Stardew Valley’s average daily sales are at an all-time high. I’m not entirely sure why this is happening. I hope that my game continues to spread by word of mouth, that the more people play, the more friends they recommend. Regardless, I’m happy that Stardew Valley is still very popular.”
The producer, who is glad that his game is bigger than ever, has not neglected to share that he is happy that Stardew Valley is so popular.
