I don’t know about you guys, but Ash vs. Evil Dead has become one of my favorite shows in recent years. It’s up to me to explain with happiness that this saga will continue thanks to HBO’s new streaming platform. Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi will join forces to resurrect the Evil Dead from the ashes.
The new film is being filmed with New Line Cinema, the studio behind the original The Evil Dead. The original trilogy, directed by Raimi, stars Campbell as Ash, but Variety reports that this time the pair will only be consultants on the project. However, I believe we will see the duo’s influence throughout the entire film.
Evil Dead Rise will be a production following the original trilogy. Our story, which begins with the reunion of two disjointed brothers (Alyssa Sutherland – Lily Sullivan), will make us laugh from time to time, which will scare us from time to time.
