Ubisoft has announced a collaboration with Venum, the world’s leading manufacturer of combat sports equipment and clothing, to create a special line of products inspired by Assassin;s Creed Valhalla. This collection is now on sale.
Built on common values such as resilience, commitment and self-transcendence, this relationship between brands was quite natural. Venum and Assassin;s Creed aim to turn entertainment fans around the world into “modern-day Vikings” in this exclusive collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, boxing gloves and joggers.
Franck Dupuis, founder and CEO of Venum, explains: “We are delighted to announce this collaboration with Assassin;s Creed Valhalla today, which is fully in line with the brand’s partnership strategy. Right now, we’re building partnerships that diverge from what the brand has done since its inception to expand to a new audience. These partnerships are, at first glance, quite far from combat sports enthusiasts, but are fully related to brand values.” Franck Dupuis added: “This collaboration with Assassin;s Creed, considered a true global reference in video games, is a sign of once again recognising the success of our diversification and democratization strategy for the brand.”
Sarah Buzby, Vice President consumer products at Ubisoft, said: “We are excited to partner with Venum to go beyond video games. We did this by turning the Valhalla universe into a unique collection of capsules for Assassin;s Creed fans around the world.” Inspired by the black of the Scandinavian night and the blue of the northern lights, this collection invites everyone to travel to the viking world with the use of traditional Viking coats of arms and typical materials (such as leather, wool or tear-in-tear fabric) from both viking and boxing worlds.
Both brands aim to highlight the similarities between the world of combat sports and video games with an innovative marketing campaign that perfectly blends the universe of video games and combat sports.
