Bethesda Game Studios is gearing up for an exciting year at Fallout 76. Throughout 2022, players will experience a new content series that will begin with the Invaders From Beyond update in the spring.
In the summer, with the Test Your Metal update, there will be a variety of Public Events to play. In the fall, players will go beyond the confines of Appalachia on a brand new expedition to Pitt. In winter, the traveler will come to Nuka-World promotional tour Appalachia and bring with it a new Public Area Boss; new loot and much more! Finally, a new year full of seasons; more weapons, equipment and C.A.M.P.; means items to decorate your work. Here’s all that’s coming to Fallout 76 this year:
Spring
Our new patch is fast approaching with a new seasonal event called Invaders From Beyond. In this map-wide event, players will encounter UFOs and aliens. Defeat the invaders and destroy the deployed Brainwave Siphons before completing their “research”. This patch will also bring a variety of improvements and changes to Fallout Worlds, including the ability to earn S.C.O.R.E. with daily and weekly tasks, new settings for C.A.M.P. buildings, PvP settings, VATS; disabling, and Legendary Perks.
Summer
The Test Your Metal update will come with three new public events: Test Your Metal, Eviction Notice, and Moonshine Jamboree. Fallout 1st members will benefit from scoreboard improvements such as special missions, increased S.C.O.R.E win rate, and custom table ranks.
Autumn
When Expeditions: The Pitt comes out, you’ll get acquainted with a whole new way of playing Fallout 76. The scouting trip, which will be reached from a new centre in Whitespring, will see players move beyond Appalachia for the first time. This update will include repeatable off-field missions where players can earn new rewards, the opportunity to meet new NPCs with missions and dialogue trees, and enemy Trogs first seen in Fallout 3;the Pitt.
Winter
An entrepreneur from the wasteland has re-embarked on his pre-war Nuka-World on Tour tour. The tour set its sights on Appalachia’s Ash Heap district. With this update, players will encounter new Public Events, including the Public Region Boss;u event. Collect loot, explore regions, and interact with new NPCs to learn more about touring.
