Events continue for PUBG: Battlegrounds new map Deston . As you may recall, Krafton recently announced that they have signed a collaboration with the famous footballer Neymar Jr. Within the scope of this cooperation, it was announced that Neymar would personally participate in the Deston Rise event to be held in France and meet with the players. The new explanations and details on the subject are as follows;
Neymar will challenge players at the PUBG Deston Rise event
During the Deston Rise event, Neymar Jr. and his squad will participate in two separate challenges – the two-game game “Neymar Jr.’s Squad vs. Everybody: Lodge Defense” and the one-game “PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS BR Match”. During the challenges, Neymar Jr. will be able to showcase his superior football skills to potentially change the course of the attacks he faces. Below you can see a list of challenges that Neymar Jr. will face during the event, and you can find more information about the event HERE.
Neymar Jr.’s Squad vs. Everyone: Lodge Defense
The first challenge will be against everyone with Neymar Jr.’s staff, and Neymar Jr.’s goal is to defend the Lodge area (POI) in Deston. The challenge will be played as TPP against Neymar Jr.’s squad and seven other PUBG partners. Neymar Jr.’s squad will only be allowed to loot the Lodge area, and the goal is simple: to protect Lodge while at least one of the team members is alive. The challenge will last for two matches and below you can see a list of rules:
- Neymar Jr. and his cast will only be allowed to loot Lodge.
- All other co-publishers are allowed to loot anywhere in Deston.
- Allowed weapons – 1) Melee Combat, 2) Crossbow 3) Pistols
- They have the freedom to use tactical equipment, as well as health and reinforcement items.
- The Blue Zone will be set to center around the Lodge.
- There will be a face-to-face activity with a football goal that Neymar Jr. can use to unfold the desired weapons/items at the Lodge.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS BR Match
The second and final challenge will involve the regular PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS battle royale format – but there’s a change available. Neymar Jr.’s roster and seven other PUBG partner squads will land in Deston for a match, with the following rule set enabled:
- Only Level 1 gear (Helmet/Backpack/Vest) will appear in Deston.
- The match observer with access to Sandbox Mode will only be able to manually give Neymar Jr. Level 3 gear and Self-AED.
- Neymar Jr. can use a face-to-face activity that includes a soccer goal to block other PUBG partner teams (such as what weapons/items to use and what not to use).
Viewers watching the broadcast on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Twitch channel during the live stream will have the chance to win special prizes through a raffle by Neymar Jr. and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
Finally, the Deston Summer Tour event enters its final week. PC and console gamers should get a camera when boarding the plane to Deston and take a screenshot or video while posing in an area of their choice. Players can then upload the screenshot or video to any of their Twitter, Instagram or Facebook accounts with their in-game nickname, gaming platform and the hashtag “#DestonSummerTour”. 500 random winners, selected from those submitted, will receive gifts: 1000 G-COINS and a spray of Deston Tour! Now take your best costume, weapon skin, and hairstyle out of your customization closet and post a photo or video before the event ends at 9:59 a.m. (CET) on August 5.
