Ubisoft has announced that two free crossover missions featuring Danny Trejo are now available to Far Cry 6 players. It also announced that the critically acclaimed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon: Classic Edition, introduced to the next generation of consoles, is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game can be purchased alone for €15 or as part of the Far Cry 6 Season Pass. Season Card holders on Windows PC will get the original 2013 game.
Far Cry 6’s free Danny Trejo-focused content released
Starting December 16th, today, Far Cry 6 players will be able to team up with Danny Trejo on two free missions that can be played alone or as a two-player co-op:
- In the “Danny & Dani vs Everybody” mission, players must prevent Antón Castillo’s powers from plotting to come to Yara to feed the hungry by making Danny’s world-famous delicious tacos.
- Sixth and final Special Ops, Malagua. After completing the “Danny & dani vs Everybody” mission, Trejo does a favor by joining the players to help students protesting Antón’s army using chemical weapons (PG-240X) in Yara.
Players will also have access to Trejo’s signature real-life outfit and Danny Trejo® package, which includes new themed equipment to personalize their characters, including a taco truck.
In Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, players embark on a 1980s-style, retro-futuristic open world where the Earth is ravaged by a nuclear war. Players as Sgt. Rex Colt, a state-of-the-art Mark IV Cyber Commando; They are tasked with saving humanity from the threat of killer cyborgs, mutated scientists, metal sharks and the dangerous Blood Dragon army that emits lasers through their eyes.
Developed by Ubisoft Toronto, Far Cry 6 is an open world first-person shooter that drags players to the heart of today’s guerrilla revolution. On the island of Yara, President Antón Castillo promised to restore his nation to its former glory while raising his son Diego to follow in his footsteps. But heaven comes at a price, too, because enriching its country means subjugating those who disagree with its vision. The players will take on the goal of liberating Yara as Dani Rojas, an abandoned native of military school who tries to escape Yara but eventually joins the revolutionary group Libertad. As Dani, players will experience the adrenaline and chaos of the Far Cry-style “Resolver”, or solver guerrilla warfare, with the most creative and innovative arsenal ever.
