Battlefield 2042, one of the most curious games of the year, lags behind Giants Software’s iconic game Farming Simulator 22. Farming Simulator 22, which beat Battlefield 2042 by nose in simultaneous player figures, looks set to make that difference soon.
Battlefield 2042 debuted on console and PC on November 19, but this release process has been challenging for EA. We have previously shared with you that the game, which has received intense criticism from the Steam page, is one of the worst graded games on the platform.
Farming Simulator 22 debuted on November 22, but soon reached 100,000 simultaneous players. The game received very positive reviews on Steam and was played by 17,533 people at the time I wrote the lines. Farming Simulator 2042 peaked with 94,744 people in the last 24 hours, well ahead of BF2042, which has only 52,524 simultaneous players.
