Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2022 tournament, organized in collaboration with ESL and Intel, has been completed. FaZe Clan was the champion of the tournament. After a five-match grand final, FaZe Clan defeated G2 Esports 3-0 to win the tournament and win the $400,000 prize money.
FaZe Clan finished 2nd in the group stage and was paired with Gambit in the quarterfinals. FaZe Clan defeated Gambit 2-0 in the quarterfinals and faced Heroic in the semifinals. FaZe Clan won 2-0 and advanced to the grand final.
The grand final took place last night at 5pm in a five-match series with G2 Esports. Inferno map; FaZe Clan won 19-15, Mirage 31-27 and Dust2 16-14, winning the IEM Katowice 2022 tournament and winning the $400,000 prize money.
