Square Enix will now give active membership players 7 days of free game time when Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker is released ( December 7, tomorrow). The play’s director, Naoki Yoshida, issued a statement and apologized.
One week of free game time for Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker players
Endwalker’s early access process began on December 3rd, and the game’s servers did not deter players from engaging. Yoshida said in a statement:
” We have reached the maximum number of simultaneous player inputs that all FFXIV servers can handle. So it takes an incredibly long time to get into the game and I’m so sorry about that.”
Square Enix will give a week of free game time to all players who were actively involved at the time of the game’s release to compensate for the entry sequences in this extremely long game and to somehow balance the interest that will increase with the game’s release. This gift will also include players who have multiple accounts or already have 30 days of game time. Yoshida also said that if the problem persists, extra free game time may be given.
Using a boat in FF 14 is also not welcome. In Final Fantasy 14, a player who used a bot paid a heavy price for using a bot recently.
