While many were waiting for new game announcements at Square Enix;in E3 presentation, many also hoped that the FINAL Fantasy VII Remake would be announced on PC. Our hopes were dashed and we didn’t hear anything about it in the presentation.
However, it seems that final fantasy VII Remakeis close to coming to PC, because the game appeared in the Epic Games Store database.
EpicData, like SteamDB, is a site that tracks changes to the Epic Games Store database. A game previously added as Pineapple QA may seem like an irrelevant game at first glance, but its developer is Square Enix. And those who reviewed the entries for this added game noticed that under the heading Cloud Saves, the game showed the folder “{UserDir}/My Games/FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE/EOS/{EpicID}/”. This is not really a new entry; however, it has either become newly visible, or the details have just been discovered. The title was also opened todayon ResetEra.

The Cloud Exclude List clearly says “ff7remakedevice.sav” which leaves no doubt about what the game is.
Considering that the Kingdom Hearts series and Neo: The World Ends With You are exclusive to the Epic Games Store, the FF7 Remake will be exclusive to EGS, at least on a timely basis.
