The good news for John Wick fans came from deadline. The first details about The Continental, which will be a series adaptation of the film, have officially emerged. Speaking to Deadline, Lionsgate Television boss Kevin Beggs confirmed that the show will tell the story of Winston’s character’s youth.
Winston, played by Ian McShane in all his charisma, is one of the most curious characters in the John Wick realm. In the series, we’ll share Winston’s experiences as head of Continental and get to know the John Wick universe. Unfortunately, we won’t have a chance to see Keanu Reeves as an actor in this adaptation.
In the new adventure we will travel to 1970s New York, we will go to the roots of the legend of continental. In addition, Beggs said the series was inspired by The Sopranos.
