Publisher Secret Mode and developer Cosmonaut Studios announced that eternal threads, a story-driven first-person puzzle game, will debut for PC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on May 19. A Switch version is also planned.
Eternal Threads is a single-player story-driven first-person puzzle game about time manipulation, choices and results.
Six people died in a house fire in the north of England in May 2015. Your goal is to prevent fire and accompanying deaths in a game where you play the role of a character tasked with correcting time-distortions.
You are not allowed to intervene directly during a fire. That’s why you’re being sent seven days before the incident. You will try to change the course of time and prevent that bad event from happening by manipulating all kinds of selections of the inhabitants of the house for seven days, small and large. There’s more than one way to save it.
The Uk, Liverpool-based team Cosmonaut Studios was founded by former Magenta Software members.
