The first trailer for the Shenmue anclasm, produced in collaboration with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, has been released. The series will air on both platforms on February 5.
As the trailer shows, the anime will stick to the story of the game and will include some well-known scenes. Among them is the scene where Ryo drives a forklift.
It is not yet clear whether the 13-part anning will be limited to one game or keep its story wider.
Anime voices Ryo; Masa Matsukaze, who voices Ryo in all three Shenmue plays. In english dubbing, Austin Tindle, also known for his role as Ken Kaneki in the Tokyo Ghoul series, is entrusted to Ryo.
