Epic Games and Xbox donated all of Fortnite’s revenues under the name of a humanitarian campaign for Ukraine. Fortnite revenues cover the period from March 20 to April 3.
After a two-week fundraiser, Epic Games announced the Fortnite community and raised $144 million with Xbox. A new post was posted on the official Fortnite Twitter account to announce this. The post reads: “We would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who have supported our campaign to help people affected by the war in Ukraine.”
The money raised was donated directly to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) and the UNHCR – UN Refugee Agency.

On the other hand, many gaming companies are donating money to humanitarian organizations, as well as removing games for sale in Russia and Belarus. In this context, CD Projekt Red suspended all digital and physical sales of its games in Russia and Belarus due to russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine-based developer GSC Game World has halted development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl due to the occupation. It has been announced that some of the GSC team has travelled to the Czech Republic. Pokémon Company International donated $200,000 to GlobalGiving to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine
