It’s been a month since Russia invaded Ukraine. We have made sure to share with you the many help that goes from the game world to ukrainian territory. But the biggest contributions appear to have come from Epic Games and Fortnite. Epic Games, which announced earlier in the new season that it would donate all proceeds to charities, is running for a record.
Fortnite, which raised more than $30 million on its first day, soon received a thank you from Ukrainian Deputy Prime MinisterMykhailo Fedorov. Exactly 4 days after the start of the campaign, Epic Games announced that the total amount of money raised had reached $70 million.
This donation is being transferred to charities such as Direct Relief, UNICEF and the UN World Food Programme. However, it is worth remembering that the donation process will continue until April 3rd. In short, this figure of $70 million will increase in the coming days. We also congratulate Epic Games for its thoughtful behavior in this regard.
