Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Overwatch 2 will debut on October 4 in Early Access and free for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
Mike Ybarra, president of Blizzard Entertainment, said in a press release: “We can’t wait to bring you Overwatch 2 on October 4, a remastering of iconic heroes, maps, and gameplay.”
Overwatch 2 is the sequel to Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed team-based game. Building on the battle-hardened foundations of the original game, Overwatch 2 transfers everything players achieve to a whole new era of competition and team play. You’ll compete against other players in PvP modes, exploring the Overwatch universe in a completely cooperative way with a whole new perspective. The heroes of the world will join forces, level up and fight together against the threats that plague the planet.
