In recent years, EA’s failure to release new games to the NBA Live series has left only one alternative in the market; Basketball fans have to move on with the NBA 2K series. Naturally, every year they try their luck to see if there’s any change this time. Whether innovations come in or the game changes, there’s one aspect that hasn’t changed: micropayments. So things are getting a little complicated for those who want me to not only spend extra and keep playing with pleasure. But we can’t give up, can we, dear Gamegezers? One way or another, there will be a way; he will move on without any extra expenses.
That’s exactly what our article is about, how a freeloader survives in the world of NBA 2K 🙂 Although it is not possible to convey all the details in a single article, I will try to outline them as much as I can. I hope it helps someone among you…
Make time for the game
If you don’t want to invest extra cash in NBA 2K, you need to make up for it with extra time. Already the system of 2K is based on this basic logic; Where the people who give you the money run, you have to spend tens of hours to get to the same point, which we agree is not fair. But despite this troubling picture, you can at least get away with it a little bit when you spend enough time and use it wisely in the right places.
Let’s say you want to buy a package. To do this, you need to use one of 2 different currencies in-game. While MT can be obtained through your activities in the game and the shopping you make in the in-game market, the VC can be obtained both through your activities in the game and by purchasing VC packages (you can also come across MT sales on different sites, I base them on the official packages of the game). So if you don’t want to pour your money into VC packages like the “there’s money, there’s peace” crew; you can play an extra 10-15 matches and in some cases 40-50 matches and accumulate VC or MT, and you can buy packages in this way. The same goes for improving your player’s features in MyCareer mode; People print money and average their player 90-95, some of them play dozens of games like us and settle for 80 averages; But there’s nothing we can do.
One detail that can be indicated in the title of making time for the game is the advantages of entering the game every day. In career mode, you can receive that day’s reward by visiting the symbol of the group to which your character belongs and logging in daily in MyTeam mode. If you log in for the entire week in MyTeam mode, you turn the reward wheel and get an extra reward.
As you take the time to play, of course, your hand warms up, your players improve, and the cards you collect increase. In summary, the most basic way to move forward without spending money is to spend more time in the game than others.
Avoid unnecessary purchases
Speaking of packages and improving character traits, not to mention this point; It makes sense to avoid spending money on unnecessary things. Player packages rarely have content that meets your expectations, so buy as little as you can (or even don’t buy at all). Instead, you can focus directly on buying the player cards you want. Instead of being disappointed to see a player card with an average of 70-75 units from the package you gave 15,000 units, for example, you can spend 3-5 thousand units and buy cards with an average of 90 or more.
It is also best to avoid spending money on your player’s clothing in career mode as much as possible. After all, what makes sense to pay 20,000 units for a shoe in a tshirte? Instead of buying packages, spending money on clothing, you can focus on improving the main features of your character.
Locker Codes is life
Locker codes are often shared for NBA 2K. If you follow this regularly, you can get everything from player or equipment packages to in-game money. All you have to do is enter these passwords in the locker codes field in the Hub, that’s all. If you are lucky, you can access very good player cards from these packages, I can easily say this from my past experience 🙂
Therefore, make sure you keep an eye on the code lists. You can follow these lists on the game’s social media accounts and in-game announcements. There are also sites that regularly list these codes.
Competitive challenges can annd you, move forward with single-player modes
The issue of monetaryization can also make competitive struggles frustrating (especially MyTeam competitive challenges). yes, maybe you guys aren’t incompetent like me, you’re playing really well. But you can still get bored when you’re struggling and barely making a proper cast and you’re starting to show off with a mix of stars. So I say continue with single-player modes, at least until you’re fully prepared.
In the MyCareer section, one-man competitive matches suffer from similar problems, but there at least in team games you leave this problem partially behind, you can try your luck there. The MyTeam section offers enough content, and you can keep playing throughout the year without getting into competitive challenges. For example, you’re not a prisoner of Triple Threat Online, there’s Triple Threat Offline. There’s Domination. There are daily, weekly, seasonal Challenges. So you don’t get much of a shortage.
And others…
Let me put it together by mentioning some small but useful points:
> For example, in MyTeam mode, when your players are out of contract and you don’t have enough contracts, there’s a difference between the amount you’re asked to pay when you try to buy a contract in the Domination section or on the roster selection screen and the amount requested in the Triple Threat section; It is more advantageous to update your players’ contracts in the Triple Threat menu, prefer this way.
> try to complete daily tasks as best you can in MyTeam mode. In addition, take care to perform weekly, seasonal, thematic, etc. tasks. Be sure to check out player, team, position-specific missions. So you can collect plenty of experience points. For example, in recent weeks there have been “Alter Ego” themed cards and missions; When you collected a few of these cards and completed at least half of the Alter Ego-themed missions, you could easily move your level up 5-10 places during the season. Likewise, last week’s Moments missions didn’t offer bad scores either. Similarly, check out the Triple Threat Offline and Domination missions offered by that season, which offer a good opportunity to collect fast XP. He’s in the second world. It’s the season, and every Domination win earns you 300 XP. A total of 20 games of missions has been created, so you collect 6,000 XP even here alone. Missions offer extra rewards as well as experience points, which is not to mention the job.
> on MyTeam, both the player you choose as a Starter, the 3 you set up for Triple Threat, and your preferences for your main roster are factors that determine how fast you can progress in the game. Finding the style that suits you and moving forward with the appropriate players is the first way that comes to mind, of course. But still, some formulas that go general can also come in handy. For example, in your TT tri three, closing the hoop with a solid pivot and adding two good players in the outer shots can help you quickly conclude the matches here. Or you can pick your pivot from three-pointers like leblebi, and you can finish the game in the blink of an eye:)
> There are advantages to playing with the same players as much as possible. They both earn points and progress in the game, and you can use the badges and shoes you have in them to focus. The downside is that you have to renew contracts more often.
> Don’t forget about card shopping. When you want to sell what you have, consider the average price on the market instead of accepting the price that the game automatically offers. You can also use a formula for your purchases. Note the lowest price for that player card among general sales and try to buy it at a price around that price.

> If you have time, if you can, you might want to consider making a list like me. You can see the cards you have in your hand in a tidy way, you can use them for your purchases and use them to keep track of tasks.
> Although ;ads; Although the issue is a subject that can be criticized, you can also get rewards (in-game money, packages, etc.) by watching 2KTV weekly broadcasts and answering questions here.
Let me just say that I’m not claiming to be doing this very well; But since it allows me to continue to play the NBA with pleasure throughout the year without ever getting involved in additional payments and all my incompetence, then at least these formulas work for me 🙂 I hope it helps you, too. That’s as much of a lovely Gamer as I am for now.
