Studio Frogwares has announced that it is developing a new game codenamed Project Palianytsia. Based on the Victorian era, this game will offer players a mix of mystery and horror elements. An official announcement about the game is planned for this summer.
The Frogwares team is previously known for games like The Sinking City and Sherlock Holmes.
Sergey Oganesyan, communications manager at Frogwares, said of the game: “The game is currently being developed without any problems. The headquarters of Frogwares is located in Ukraine, where the war with Russia is ongoing. Although there are difficulties to a great extent, we will not give up on this path. We’re doing something almost entirely from scratch right now, and we know that under these circumstances, a much more challenging process will pass.
As an independent studio, we always have to balance our resources and workflow to be able to deliver our games. However, the current war situation is very difficult for us and we have problems in delivering the games to you. We want to overcome this situation and offer you new productions.
