NUKKLEAR and Funcom have announced that they are gearing up together for a survival game set in the world of Frank Herbert’s famous novel Dune. NUKKLEAR will take on the co-developer role of the game and contribute to the scale of funcom’s pre-planned game.
Funcom announced in 2019 that it had acquired the rights to develop a game based on the Dune series. This game will be an online multiplayer survival game inspired by One of Funcom’s successful games, Conan Exiles.
Funcom says this is the most comprehensive and ambitious project they have ever received, adding that they need talented and reliable partners to do so, so they are collaborating with NUKKLEAR. They’re going to benefit from NUKKLEAR’s experience, especially in vehicle games.
This new Dune game is still in the early stages of development, so no further information is being given about it.
